Diabetic Eye exams
Diabetes can affect the health of your eyes and often times, changes in the eye will not be noticeable to the patient until significant vision loss has occurred. All patients with diabetes should have an annual dilated eye exam to detect any early stages or ocular changes. Earlier detection will allow for timely treatment which can play a significant role in preventing complete vision loss. A report of your eye exam findings may be sent directly to your medical doctor, which will assist in the management of your diabetes.
